Our goal is simple: to create images and films that feel real, meaningful, and timeless.
Bear Run Media began as an idea long before it became a business. The three of us spent years working for other studios, photographing countless weddings while often feeling disconnected from the value of the work we were creating. One day, while sitting together at a vendor table, we realized we wanted something different — a studio built around authenticity, craftsmanship, and a genuinely personal experience for our clients.
Together, we bring over thirty years of experience behind the camera.
CHRIS RUSANOWSKY
PHOTOGRAPHER|LEAD
Chris has been behind the camera for over two decades, beginning his career at just sixteen years old. His work has taken him from studio environments producing large-scale commercial campaigns to the fast-paced news cycle, documenting stories rooted in American culture and current events. Throughout his career, Chris has always maintained a deep passion for wedding photography, creating honest, meaningful visuals for the couples he serves. He resides in Sanger, Texas, with his wife and their two children.
SARATH MAHIDHARA
PHOTOGRAPHER|ASSISTANT
Sarath is a photographer rooted in street and documentary photography. Born in India and based in the United States for the past decade, his work began not as a business but as a quiet practice of observing people and capturing moments as they naturally unfold. That instinct—to remain present, unobtrusive, and honest—continues to define his approach today.
He shares life with his wife, their three-year-old daughter, and their three-year-old dog. Wedding photography gives him the space to document emotion, connection, and stories that endure well beyond the day itself.
