Personality

As a photographer and an empathetic individual, many recognize me for my commitment to ensuring that couples and clients not only enjoy their time with me but also have a memorable experience during the events they host. Recognizing that being photographed can be somewhat intimidating, especially amidst the complexities of an event, I've been acknowledged for my ability to bring a positive light to alleviate stress.

In my role as a news photographer, stress has never been a hindrance; in fact, I thrive in challenging situations. I actively seek opportunities that take me beyond my comfort zone, allowing me to engage with diverse communities. I firmly believe that capturing an image is a straightforward aspect; the true art lies in creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable opening up and expressing their authentic selves in front of the camera.

EDITING

In the realm of editing, I do engage in the enhancement of my photographs; however, my primary focus, as a photojournalist, lies in the artistry behind the camera. The editing process involves meticulous selection of images that authentically represent the people and events captured. I dedicate attention to retouching elements such as color, highlights, and shadows to refine the visual narrative.

My goal is to create images that transcend mere aesthetics; I strive to convey a message and evoke genuine emotions. The editing process, for me, is a means to enhance the storytelling aspect of each photograph.

Experience

I have immersed myself in the art of photography through a contemporary and non-traditional approach. My education includes studying the works of photography greats through books and gaining practical experience by assisting prominent figures in the industry. My journey in this career began long before I ventured out of my mother's house.

At the age of eighteen, I successfully photographed a significant campaign for Blink-182 Drummer Travis Barker's clothing line. The resulting images adorned various locations in Hollywood, CA. As I matured, my fascination shifted towards Photojournalism, prompting me to not only capture images but to explore the world through the lens and be on the frontlines of historic events.

Weddings have consistently been my anchor, providing me the opportunity to express my photographic vision and offering the stability to fulfill roles as a husband and father of two.

Delivery

I offer three distinctive methods for delivering photos to my clients. The first method is through a secure online gallery, providing convenient access to all images from any device. This digital album not only allows you to effortlessly browse through your photos but also facilitates easy sharing with friends and family.

For my wedding clients, I present a personalized touch with my signature delivery box. This carefully crafted box includes a selection of prints, two USB drives containing both edited and unedited images, and a heartfelt note. My intention is to provide a tangible keepsake rather than a simple link.

The third option involves the creation of a book. I take great pleasure in curating books and bringing my work to life in print. Including a book as part of the service is my way of encouraging American families to revive the tradition of printing and cherishing their cherished photos once again.

TRUE ROMANTICS

A wedding day starts before the bride puts on her dress or the groom ties his tie. A wedding day starts months before. The planning and details it involves on a wedding can be overwhelming, but it pays off on the day. A nine-hour session is the perfect amount of time for me to capture a full story on all those details and plans you have made for your special day. Many photographers start packages at four hours to eight at most, but my experience is the story begins way before you getting ready. This photo essay is an example of the detailed and conveyed images I create throughout a wedding day.

TRADITIONS

In our diverse nation, a multitude of cultures coexist, each contributing their unique ways of celebrating weddings over the course of several days. Nazmine and Aaron, two youthful medical students, commenced their journey in Michigan, their home state. Their families orchestrated a lively and dynamic celebration infused with tradition. Guided by elders, the day unfolded with time-honored family customs, accompanied by traditional songs and dances. Amidst this festive atmosphere, Nazmine and Aaron joined hands, exchanged their vows, and united two families into one.
